I arrived in Abu Dhabi in April 2008 having spent 12 successful years leading Outstanding Schools in the UK. As inaugural Head of Primary at Al Yasmina, Aldar Academies' first all-age school, I was privileged to be at the forefront of the emerging success story. As inaugural Principal of Al Ain International school, I look forward to welcoming our founding pupils and families and working with you to ensure that all children develop a love of learning in what is to become a first class International School in Al Ain.

I arrived in Abu Dhabi from the U.K. in 2004 and in September 2007, I was part of the Leadership team that opened the very first Aldar Academies School, The Pearl Primary. Now as Deputy Headteacher at Al Ain International School, it is extremely exciting to once again be involved right from the start. As a Deputy Headteacher, I thoroughly enjoy contributing to the day to day running of a school as well as being involved in helping shape the curriculum across the school.

One of my main enjoyments in life is music, not just in listening or performing but in having the opportunity to help build children’s confidence in playing musical instruments and helping them to perform at all levels with a smile on their face. I look forward to the privilege of teaching every child from FS through to Year 5 on a daily and weekly basis in their music lessons as well as visiting them in their own classrooms where they will be encouraged to fulfill their full potential in a warm, friendly and supportive learning environment.
